Van Veen Grab Samplers for Laboratory
The Van Veen grab is based on the Van Veen design. The Van Veen grab is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and the surface is electro polished.
During the descent to the bottom the two buckets are held in open position by the means of a hook. When the grab hits the bottom the tension on the hook is released and the hook is disengaged. Upon lifting the buckets dig into the bed of the water body and close.
