Product Description
Introduction
PTT-001 / TPEE online water content tester carries out the water content in oil detecting. It is an ideal choice for online testing or portable measurement of moisture content in lubricating oil and insulating oil to ensure proper operation of devices and machines. For example, moisture can have a huge impact on the insulating properties of transformer oil. Therefore, it is very important to have continuous detection of transformer oil.
The moisture measurement in oil is similar to that of air humidity. The water content in oil can be described as the absolute value in ppm and the relative value in water aw. It can directly measure and display the water activity aw, temperature T and absolute moisture content (ppm) in the oil.
It has been widely applied to fit at machine filtration to measure transformer oil during filtration work, with display shown indicator "PPM" during operation.
It is also capable to run on power supply 220-240Vac (optional).
- ppm (mass of water/mass of oil)
- aw (The ratio between the actual water content in the oil and the saturated water content of the oil at that temperature)
aw = 0 indicates that there is no water in oil;aw = 1 means that oil is fully saturated.
