Description:
Smoke point apparatus for kerosene conforms to the ASTM D1322 Standard Test Method for Smoke Point of Kerosene . The apparatus provides an indication of the relative smoke producing properties of kerosenes in a diffusion flame. The smoke point is related to the hydrocarbon type composition of such fuels. Generally the more aromatic the fuel the smokier the flame. A high smoke point indicates a fuel of low smoke producing tendency.

Features:

1. The sample burns in the standard lamp, the variations of flame height is displayed on the background of millimeter ruler. Lift the Oil conservator slowly and uniformly, raise the lamp wick to the flame which just appears smoke, and then lower it to the smoke tail point which just disappears. This point is the sample’s smoke point. 2. The apparatus is designed with compact structure, perfect integrity and attractive appearance. 3. The apparatus consists of no electrical element.
