Application:
There are currently three main methods for testing the adhesion of a coating to a substrate: one is a

circular ring method, one is a cross-cut method, and the other is a pull-off method. Both the circle method and the cross-cut
method can only rank the adhesion force, but can not be specifically quantified; and the pull-off method can quantitatively (using
Mpa) to describe the specific size of the adhesion, and the adhesion of different coatings is effective, very suitable for
developers to use when developing formulations.
PAT-500 digital display pull-off tester is a new intelligent adhesion test instrument developed by our company with reference to
foreign similar products. It is hydraulically tested for pull-off of a specific area of the coating. Pull-off force can be passed
through the number. The display is accurately displayed and comes in two different units of MPa and psi.
The instrument is the first in China, with simple operation, accurate data, low maintenance cost and low cost of supporting
consumables. The instrument has a USB interface, which is equivalent to a USB flash drive. After connecting to the computer
through the data cable, the operator can directly export all the test data.
The instrument is widely used for adhesion testing between different coatings in concrete base coats, anti-corrosion coatings or
multi-coat systems

Portable design with built-in rechargeable lithium battery, no external power supply, suitable for field and laboratory use;
◆ Standard Micro-USB interface, the instrument is similar to the U disk after connecting with the computer, can directly copy the
stored experimental data, no need to install any software, easy to use;
◆ Comply with GB/T 5210, ASTM D4541/D7234, ISO 4624/16276-1 and other standards；
◆ The machine has a built-in real-time clock, and all saved data have corresponding experimental date and time; it is convenient
for users to summarize and manage the experimental data;
◆ The pull-off spindles are available in 10, 14, 20 and 50mm sizes for different bond strengths, extending the functionality and
resolution of the instrument;
◆ Each instrument is calibrated with a NIST traceable pressure sensor from the factory, with an accuracy of ±1% of full scale,
with a calibration certificate;
◆ Internal storage pull data, including maximum pull-off force, pull-off rate, test time and size of the pull-off spindle;
◆ The pull-off rate shows that it is easier for the operator to observe and adjust the pull-off rate, in line with international
standard test methods;
◆ Simply press the button to select the size of the pull unit, change the unit of measurement or store the reading;
◆ Without the conversion table, the instrument automatically calculates the pull-off force according to the size of the pull-off
unit;
◆ The pull-off unit uses an aluminum spindle that conforms to international standards and can be used for long-term record keeping
without cleaning.
◆ The aluminum automatic alignment pull-off unit ensures that the pull-off force acts evenly on the test when the test is smooth
or uneven, and prevents the single-side pull-off;
◆ Advanced industrial pressure sensors ensure continuity of accuracy;
◆ Liquid crystal display, there are two units of MPa or psi;
