The TOPLAND’s chokes are meant for variable flow, it has externally controlled indicator showing orifice size in the increment of 1/16th inch. The variation in choke size is achieved by rotating handwheel to obtain desired flow rate at down stream side. Interchangeability of parts to construct a positive adjustable choke.

The positive choke valve is employed on Christmas trees and wellheads and designed for flow control. In order to control flow rate, the positive choke valve uses flow beans in different orifice diameters that can be changed to adjust the effective area available for the flow.
