4. Introduction to the maintenance method of diatomite filter.

1). For filters that have been inactive for a long time, be sure to clean the inside and outside of the filter, remove the filter element, wash and dry, and store it in a plastic bag to prevent damage. Please do not use hydrochloric acid or corrosive substances as the cleaning agent, and the temperature should not be too high to prevent deformation of polypropylene. Avoid contamination and impact when storing.

2). If the filter element is to be soaked in acid-base lotion, the soaking time cannot exceed 24 hours, and the temperature of the acid-base solution is usually 20℃--25℃. It is recommended that the ratio of acid or alkali to water is 20%. Then rinse with deionized water repeatedly. For filtrate with higher protein content, the filter element can be soaked in enzyme solution for good cleaning effect. When reused, it must be cleaned before use, and then steam sterilized.

3). Pay attention to the time and temperature when disinfecting the filter element. It is advisable to use 121℃ for polypropylene in a high-temperature disinfection cabinet, and for steam disinfection under a steam pressure of 0.1 Mpa, preferably 130℃/20 minutes, polysulfone and polytetrafluoroethylene When ethylene fluoride is sterilized with steam, it can reach 142℃, the pressure is 0.28Mpa, and the time is about 30 minutes. If the temperature is too high, the time is too long, and the pressure is too large, the filter element will be damaged.
