Summary:

Mortar consistency meter is suitable for measuring the fluidity of mortar (general fluidity is also called consistency). The consistency of mortar is expressed by the standard cone of a certain geometry and weight and the centimeter number of centimeters that its own weight freely sinks into the mortar mixture.

Technical performance:

Operational procedures:

1. Clean the inside of the container, place it on the workbench, then turn on the power switch, and the machine starts charging.

2. According to the calculated mix ratio, the newly mixed mortar is tilted about 1 cm away from the top of the mortar container, and the flutter of the mortar container makes the surface of the mortar smooth.

3. Place the cylinder on the tester so that the tip of the standard cone is in contact with the slurry surface. Turn the screw tightly and mark it at zero.

4. Press start-up and press-twist to make the standard cone fall vertically and freely, and control the time of sinking in mortar to read out the sinking amount after 10 seconds.

5. After each test, the use of the instrument must be registered on the instrument and equipment status sheet.

Usage method

1. Put the mixed mortar into the container once, tamp the container 25 times with 10-12 mm diameter tamping stick, pat the container 5-6 times, place the container under the tip of the test cone, and align the center of the container with the tip of the test cone.

2. Adjust the cone frame, make the tip of the standard cone contact with the surface of the mortar mixture, and tighten the screw.

3. Adjust the pin and pointer to zero position, move the dial elevator, so that the lower end of the rack and the upper end of the taper slider touch lightly.

4. Loosen the test cone fixing screw, let the standard test cone sink freely into the mortar mixture for 10 seconds, and tighten the fixing screw.

5. Rotate the pin mother so that the lower end of the rack is in contact with the test cone slider. Read the sinking distance (in centimeters) from the dial as the consistency of the mortar.

6. Take the average value of the two tests.

Analysis of experimental results

According to the consistency value of mortar to judge whether the mortar meets the use requirements, the arithmetic average value of the two results is taken as the result of the mortar consistency measurement; if the difference between the two values is greater than 20 mm, the mortar should be re-proportioned and determined.

Matters needing attention:

1. The test shall not be carried out without leaving or chatting with others.

2. Non-test personnel shall not use this instrument.

3. Wash and dry after each use.
