Soil Dynamic Cone Penetrometer 

Features: The Heavy-Duty Dynamic Cone Penetrometer permits rapid and economical of soils while providing information on soil stratification. It is commonly used for footing evaluations and can also be used to evaluate fill when compaction must be verified. This tool consists of a sliding hammer assembly with a 10-pound hammer that is dropped 24 inches. The slide hammer shaft is machined from one piece of alloy steel. Both the hammer shaft and hammer are heat treated to ensure long life.
