For a given electrode, when the dielectric constant of the measured medium is constant, a fixed frequency measurement voltage is applied to the electrode. After that, the present flowing through the capacitor depends on the peak of the medium between the capacitor electrodes and is proportional thereto. Introduction to Capacitive Level Sensor
