The basic test stand features a three-phase 380Vac inverter motor, a magnetic pickup on the motor rotation, a digital tachometer, a potable potentiometer for governor output feedback, a 20L oil sump, oil pump, and oil heater. The test stand also provides a reliable and convenient source of heating oil, so that the governor can quickly reach the working temperature. That is convenient for the operator to accurately adjust the governor being tested.

The test stand has two kinds of drive power, 2.2KW and 3.7KW. The 2.2KW stand tests SG, PSG, PGEV, PGMV, UG8, UG40 and the other WOODWARD governors and actuators, RHD6, RHD10 of ZEXEL, YT111, YT555, TH-5, QJY-5, United Governor B, C, D, and other Chinese makes of governors.
