Three Roll Mill is the most effective grinder of high viscosity materials,It is widely used for grinding paste materials such as inks, paint, dyestuff, pigment, grease, cosmetics, soap, plastic,  medicine, leather, food etc.

It is equipped with three rollers which are in horizontal level. With the roll extruding and milling in different speed, the material is ground normally for two times, and hard or high viscosity material for more times, then obtain high quality finished products of 3-18um(testing with fineness scraper).

Main Structure

The Three Roller Mill is made up of the machine base, cover, roller bearing, Copper end plates, discharge collecting blade, cooling system, gears and wheels. There are a total of six bearing bases for high speed roller, medium speed roller and low speed roller supported by base orbit. Among them, the medium speed roller is fixed to the base and cover.The fast and feed rollers can be moved horizontally via turning wheel spring to reach the desired grinding fineness.

Working principle

Three rollers works squeeze with each other, the materials are grinded into the minimum fineness.

The rotation direction of the rollers are different,the rear roller rotates backward with slow speed, the front roller rotates forward with high speed, the middle roller is fixed. Materials are charged from space between middle roller and rear roller, and are squeezed by the rollers to obtain smaller particle size. Then the materials are rolled out by the fast roller, the scrapper at the fast roller separate materials from the roller and fall into the  barrels.

5.With cooling device to ensure continuous work;

6.Final fineness can be around 3 ~ 15μm.
