1. Plate and frame filter press (plate and frame filter press) consists of a group of filter Chambers arranged alternately by filter plates and frames.The surface of the filter plate is grooved and its protruding part is used to support the press cloth.There are through holes in the corner of the filter frame and filter plate. After assembly, a complete channel is formed, which can be filled with suspension, washing water and filtrate.Both sides of the plate and the frame are supported by handles on the crossbeam.The press cloth between the plate and the frame ACTS as a sealing gasket.The suspension hydraulic fluid is fed into the filter chamber by the feed pump to form a filter residue on the filter cloth until the filter chamber is filled.The filtrate flows through the filter cloth and along the groove of the filter plate to the edge and corner channel of the plate frame for centralized discharge.After filtration, clean water can be used to wash the filter residue.After washing, sometimes also into the compressed air, remove the remaining washing liquid.Then open the filter press to remove the filter residue, clean the press cloth, re-press the plate, box, and start the next working cycle.
