Introduction to white corundum:

White corundum is a kind of high-grade refractory raw material, the main crystal phase is alpha -Al2O3, white color. It has the characteristics of large volume density, low porosity, volume stability and good thermal shock resistance. It is suitable for large steel castings, especially for shell making materials of alloy casting mould, core sand, coating and investment casting. White corundum sand and powder are ideal materials to replace zircon sand powder as surface material in precision casting. White corundum is classified by mesh size: white corundum segment sand, fine powder, fine powder and grain size sand.

USES of white corundum:
