Because of these small tolerances, we can now even produce filter cartridges with a slot opening of 10 micron. Very tight tolerances on the slots, result in a very accurate filtration process. With these tolerances, the filtration process with the bigger slot openings will now also be far more accurate then before.

Our wedge wire cartridges with 10 micron, can be used in air, dust and gas filtration, where they can replace the existing paper and mesh filters. Some conditions to produce 10 micron:

Diameter of the filter: from 45 mm up to 110mm

OD 45 mm →  70 mm: max. length 2000 mm

OD 70 mm →  110 mm: max. length 1000 mm

Filtration has to be from outside to inside (FOTI)

Used profile wire has to be 0,76 mm wide

Advantage of WEDGE WIRE FILTERS

Wedge Wire Screens are manufactured by wrapping a profile wire cylindrically around longitudinal placed support rods. All wires and rods are resistance welded at each point of contact. The numerous combinations of wire profiles, support rods, flow direction and wide range of slots (fixed or variable) allow GUANGXING to design screens according your exact technical specification. We manufacture wedge wire screens for a variety of industries including water well production, water treatment, food and beverage, oil and gas, pulp and paper, mineral and aggregate processing, refining and petrochemical.

The smooth filtering surface of the wedge wire filters helps easy cleaning, by wiping of or by backwash, where for paper and mesh filters cleaning is never efficient or sometimes impossible. There are no recurring expenses in case of welded wedge wire candles, where paper and mesh filters are disposable and need to be replaced. The slot opening of wedge wire filters always remains constant, where for paper and mesh filters the slot opening may widen or get disturbed.
