KANO-8800 EMULSION for both water based and solvent based ink

KANO-8800 DIRECT EMULSION

1. MIXING: Use 50-100g purified water to dissolve photosensitizer for 10 minutes, and then pour it into emulsion, mix the emulsion with glass rod or wooden rod evenly. It can be used after 2 hours standing time.

2. COATING: Determine the coating thickness according to actual demand. If need two or more coatings, the next coating must be proceed after the first one is fully drying. Other wise, it will create problem in development stage.

3. DRYING: The oven temperature should be 40±5℃, and the screen must be fully drying.

4. EXPOSURE: Wavelength 300-440nm is recommended. HP mercury lamp and HP iodine gallium lamp are best at present. 

5. DEVELOPING: Immersion in bowl or tub for 1-2 minutes, or rinse off the both sides in mist spray with HP water gun.

6. MENDING: Mend pin-hole, edge etc. after finishing above jobs.

7. SECOND EXPOSURE: The time is 1.5-2 times that of the first exposure.

8. HARDENING: Coat the both sides of screen needed hardening with A+B hardening liquid, and then blow the remaining liquid with air gun after 1-2 minutes, and then heat it or put it outdoor exposure to the sun for 15-30 minutes, which will improve the screen`s print run.

9. STORAGE: Keep the emulsion in dark, cold place at about 20℃. It will be easy to produce chemical or physical reactions if the temperature is above 25℃ or below 5℃. The photosensitizer should be stored in fridge at 0-5℃.

10. SCREEN WASHING: It is necessary to clean off the dirt and greases with neutral detergent, and then fully drying before coating emulsion, which will improve the screen`s print run.

11. PHOTOSENSITIZER: It is necessary to dissolve the photosensitizer with purified water or pure water. Tap water is not allowable.

12. DEVELOPING IN WINTER: Water temperature 15--35℃ is recommended in Winter. It will create problem if the water temperature is too low.
