Features

Through the use of internationally advanced double-coating double-baking and roller coating equipment, we at Panel can produce aluminum coated coil with fluorocarbon (PVDF) coating, polyester coating, and coating in special color. We annually make over 13,000 tons of aluminum coated coil in different specifications, with max. width of 1,600mm and max. thickness of 1.2mm.

The aluminum coil is strictly inspected being cleansed . Then we coat PPG or paint containing 70% fluorocarbon resin onto the clean surface. This enables us to ensure the unsurpassed quality of our aluminum coated coil.

2. PVDF Coated Aluminum Coil

The PVDF coated aluminum coil uses PVDF paint of famous brands like PPG, VALSPAR and NIPPON, which goes through duplex or triplex coating and high temperature baking to form 25-35μm thick cured coating. As the PVDF coating provides corrosion resistance, high weatherability, strong adhesion, high self-cleaning capability and is maintenance-free, the aluminum coated coil can remain color fast and durable for 10-15 years.

Features of PVDF Paint for PVDF Coated Aluminum Coil

The fluorocarbon or PVDF paint used for our PVDF coated aluminum coil is made out of fluorocarbon resin, pigment, and additives. Today it is one of the paints that provide the best performance. The PVDF paint is far superior to common paints in terms of weather resistance, salt tolerance, washability, non-adhesiveness and more, and is known as the "King of Paint".

1. The PVDF paint provides good corrosion resisting property, which results from its great chemical inertness. Resistant to chemical substances like acids, bases, salts, and various chemical solvents, the paint film serves as a protective barrier for our PVDF coated aluminum coil. The protective paint film has high surface hardness, high yield strength, impact and wear resistance, as well as excellent physical and mechanical performance.

2. The paint is maintenance free and has self-cleaning capability. With low surface energy, good hydrophobic property (water absorption<5%), oil resistance and low friction coefficient within 0.15-0.17, the PVDF coating is extremely stain repellent.
