Working Principle

Materials enter into the crushing chamber of 5X sand maker through the feeder and impact with those distributed around the impeller in the form of an umbrella under the action of centrifugal force. Then, in the strong vortex between the impeller and the case, the materials impact, rub and crush with each other for many times. At last, they will be discharged from the lower outlet of 5X sand making machine.

Safe Operation

1.The access door of vortex chamber should be checked to see if it’s closed in order to avoid materials from emitting out of the access door.

2.Check the rotary direction of the impeller looking from the feeding inlet. The impeller should rotate anticlockwise or the wiring of the motor should be adjusted.

3.The start sequence of the crusher and conveying equipment is: discharging→crusher→feeding.

Maintenance

1.Shut down and examine the machine regularly：

Open the observation door when it stops to check the abrasion situation inside the impact sand maker. If the center feeding pipe, conical cap, the liner on the upper and lower runner of the impeller, circular guard board and abrasive block are abraded, they must be changed or repaired in time. It should be paid attention to that the weight, model and size must be in accordance with the original ones in renewal.

2. Check the conveyor belt regularly：

Conveyor belt is essential in the sand making production line. The operation of the machine owes to the conveyor belt. The tension force of conveyor belt of the sand maker should be adjusted appropriately to guarantee the even stress. When double motors drive, V-belts on both sides should be matched in groups for uniform length of each group. It should be renewed in time if it's badly abraded.

3. Lubrication of accessories：

For every 400 hours of running, the sand maker should be filled with Mobil special grade lubricating grease or 3# lithium grease. After 2,000 hours, the main bearing assembly needs to be cleaned, while after 7,200 hours, it must be replaced with new bearings.
