The gradient mixer (organic resistance) independently developed by our company is a device that gradually changes the composition of the solution in a set manner, and can be used to control the solubility change or acidity change of a certain component in the solution. The analysis has a wide range of uses for separating and purifying various organics and natural products. When Jiapeng gradient mixer uses ion exchange chromatography to separate biological macromolecules, it often requires continuous pH gradient or continuous ionic strength gradient eluent; when ultracentrifugation is used to separate a sample, it is often necessary to create continuous density gradients, etc. . There are two ways to make a continuous gradient using a gradient mixer: control volume and control flow rate.
Features:
1. This instrument can keep the two cups of solution “concentrate and dilute” in balance. The mixing speed and output flow of the two cups can be adjusted to be constant. Therefore, linear gradients with different slopes can be made. The user can also make different step gradients if appropriate output flow adjustments are made at different stages of the time. The instrument can also be used alone as a magnetic stirrer, as long as a sealed magnetic core is placed in the cup that needs to be stirred.
2. LED digital display can directly display the gradient mixing speed.
Technical Parameters:
TH-300A gives a gradient of 600ml, gradient shape can be straight, resistant to organic solvents, speed digital display.
TH-500A gives a gradient of 1000ml, gradient shape can be straight, resistant to organic solvents, speed digital display.
TH-1000A gives a gradient of 2000ml, gradient shape can be straight, resistant to organic solvents, speed digital display.
Precautions:
1. Place the stirring bar in the right cup, place the gradient cup on the control box, and adjust the cup so that the stirring bar in the right cup rotates in the center position. (It is necessary to gradually increase the speed when adjusting, otherwise it will cause out of step and damage the cup)
2. Close (to the left of the direction of rotation) the mixing valve and the output valve, pour the concentrated solution into the left cup, open the (rotation direction to the right) mixing valve, allow the solution to infiltrate the right cup through the channel, and immediately close the mixing valve. Pour another dilute solution into the right cup so that the two cups are at the same level, then open the mixing valve again to keep the two liquid levels in balance.
3. If bubbles are present in the passage between the two cups, try to remove the bubbles before use.
4. Open the output valve and slowly adjust the output flow based on the required slope.
