There are many different methods of essential oils extraction from plants such as steam distillation, water/hydro distillation, water-steam distillation,vacuum distillation and so on. Hereby we'll introduce you the rotary evaporator which is an ideal vacuum distillation equipment for essential oil distillation. The rotary evaporator functions by subjecting a mixture to heat which removes the volatile components fast by the action of vacuum & rotation. The volatile components are condensed & collected. Rotary evaporator is faster and easier than other distillation equipments which needs more time and labor. The rotary evaporator with  large capacity 10L/20L/50L can be used in the pilot scale produce of essential oil, and the rotary evaporator with small capacity 0.25L-5L can be used for small scale laboratory experiment of essential oil distillation.
