Vacuum Short Path Distillation is a special liquid-liquid separation technology that operates at extremely high vacuum and allows the liquid to be separated at a temperature well below its boiling point, depending on the difference in the mean free path of the molecular motion. It is particularly suitable for the high boiling point, heat sensitivity and easy oxide system separation. Because of its distillation temperature is lower than the boiling point of the material, the distillation pressure is low, the heating time is short, the degree of separation is high, which can greatly reduce the seperation difficulty on the high boiling material, and excellently protect the characteristics of the heat sensitive material.short path distillation for sale

Short-path distillation is a distillation technique that involves the distillate traveling a short distance, often only a few centimeters, and is normally done at reduced pressure.

[1]A classic example would be a distillation involving the distillate traveling from one glass bulb to another, without the need for a condenser separating the two chambers. This technique is often used for compounds which are unstable at high temperatures or to purify small amounts of compound. With short path distillation, a decrease in boiling temperature is obtained by reducing the operating pressure. It is a continuous process with very short residence time.
