YKX3140M is 4 axis CNC gear hobbing machine: radial feeding(X-axis), axial feeding(X-axis), hob shifting(Y-axis) and differential mechanism control(W-axis). And the main rotation is driven by variable-frequency motor.

the radial feed axis(X-axis), axial feed axis(Z-axis) and hob shifting axis(Y-axis) are directly controlled by separate AC servo motor, with features of short transmission chain, good transmission rigidity, high transmission accuracy. Differential mechanism control axis(W-axis) is driven by a servo motor, therefore no differential change gears are needed, which thoroughly change and replace the conventional differential driven mode and simplify the mechanical transmission mechanism, so as to cut any helical angle gears at the range of ±45°.

The main rotation is driven by variable-frequency motor, which makes spindle speed stepless within in 150~600rpm and makes cutting speed up to 70~120m/min.

Main motor power is 11kW, sufficient for heavy-duty cutting and high federate hobbing/milling of hobs.

The main pair of guideways adopts rectangular guides with a big flat surface and the slidding surface is coated with Teflon.

The drive is transmitted via ball screws with features of good rigidity, heavy-load carrying capacity, high movement straightness, and the radial rapid speed can be up to 2.4m/min and axial rapid speed can be up to 4m/min.

The standard CNC controller is Siemens 828D/Fanuc Oi+EGB, with RS232 to connect the computer.

Cutting cycle modes can be a single square cycle, a double square cycle or L cycle and so on, which improves convenience of the operation and adjustments of the machine a lot.

The machine is equipped with automatic magnetic chip conveyor.

The machining accuracy can be up to Class 7 of GB10095-2001(China Standard).
