Bitumen expansion joint for bridge and highway road is composed of a blend of asphalts, vegetable fibers, and mineral fillers formed under heat and pressure between two asphalt-saturated liners. It is waterproof, permanent, flexible, and self-sealing. It can fully absorb the bridge deck's vibration shock which come from vehicular traffic,and is effective in reducing the bridge cracks.
