The cutter suction dredger is a combination of mechanical and hydraulic dredgers. In order to ensure the quality of underwater dredging (ie, the flatness of underwater submarine after excavation and the depth of dredging), it must be used on the hull. The landing gear of the steel piles and steel piles or the three-cable positioning device is positioned to move the ship forward and backward. The left and right traversing swing of the hull is traversed by the left and right transverse anchors connected to the dredge reamer bridge.

The depth of dredging is reflected by a depth-deploying sensor mounted on a bridge or winch, which is controlled by the operator. After the underwater reamer is rotated to break the soil, a centrifugal vacuum mud pump at the rear end of the suction pipe inlet is used to generate a certain vacuum at the suction inlet. The mud stirred by the reamer is sucked into the mud pipe with water and then passed through the mud pipe. The sludge pump after the mud pump transports the slurry to the prescribed dumping area. If the distance to be transported is far, it will be transported by the inboard pump installed in the hull.

1. The cutter is driven by a low speed and high torque hydraulic motor, cutter shaft is supported by dual-column center adjustable spud.
2. The dredger is consisted of mud pump(pump impeller and cover is made by Cr.26 material), driven by diesel engine through high-elastic shaft coupling and gear box (with Electric Clutch).
3. The dredger winch and bridge winch are driven by hydraulic motor.
4. A shaft alternator provides the whole ship power while working, includes: diesel pump, fire pumps, fans, lighting etc.
5. A berth generating set provides the electric power when the dredger is idle, which includes as follows:
Lighting, air-conditioning and ventilator.
Deck cranes, emergency Hydraulic Pump Group and other necessary auxiliary equipment.
