‘Straight through ’ design for straightforward baling

In-Line Square Balers are exclusive to MF1839 and provide many advantages over conventional balers. The efficient in-line design square balers assure that each square bale stacks like a brick and the chamber design virtually eliminates banana shaped bales produced by competitor conventional style balers.

The in-line baler also means that field and road positions are the same, this is not so for conventional balers which requires operators to constantly change from field to road positions. Side draft in hilly conditions is not experienced with the in-line square balers because they are not heavier on one side. When baling with a  MF1839 square baler, the operator simply straddles the windrow the same as they would when they are round baling.

Easy on the road, easy in the field

The MF 1839 is a small rectangular baler with a wide pickup ideal for high usage or contracting, producing bales that are just the right size for easy handling or feeding, and just the right density for efficient storage and transport.

A unique ‘centre line’ allows the crop to flow quickly with minimum damage to the baler.
With the same field and road positions, operators can simply pull into the field, lower the pick-up and start baling - meaning no time consuming manhandling required!

The wide pick-up features a small diameter, ‘low profile’ design with closely spaced tines ensuring windrows are picked up cleanly with minimal disturbance and leaf loss.

The crop is pre-compressed into a slice in the pre-forming chamber before entering the bale chamber – this pre-formed slice concept enables the baler to operate with a shorter plunger stroke, significantly reducing plunger bearing wear.

Shorter plunger strokes means plunger speed can be increased giving boosted capacity and higher productivity.

Rugged knotters are designed and built to operate reliably over many years with minimum fuss or maintenance, whether using plastic or sisal twine.
