The helical piles and anchors in construction

Helical anchors are used for new construction and to support existing structures. They are designed for applications in expansive soils, high water tables, fill areas, and other areas where unstable soils require a deep foundation. In compression they are used as footers and in tension they may be used to support retaining or foundation walls. Helical piers are round or square, tubular or bar steel shafts with round helix plates welded to them.

Square Bar Shaft  screw piles

1. Bar Material: 40Cr or 45# steel, round corner 5mm radius.

2. Helix Plate material conforms to ASTM A36 hot rolled plate .

3. Helices thickness are available in 3/8” and 1/2” inch.

4. All helix leading edges sharpened and rock cut and 45 degrees.

5. Corrosion protection to conform to ASTM A153 standard for hot dipped zinc coating.

6. A better conventional solid steel extra high strength helical screw pile

7. Welded coupling for greater strength. Eliminates shaft heat damage caused by upset coupling process.

 Square Tubular Shaft  screw piles 

1. Available in 2”, 2.5”, 3” or 4” square tube.

2. Helices thickness are available in 3/8”and 1/2”inch.

3. Helices material conforms to ASTM A36 hot rolled plate.

4. All helix leading edges sharpened and rock cut and 45 degrees.

5. Corrosion protection to conform to ASTM A153 standard for hot dipped zinc coating.

6. Square Tube eliminated over torquing concerns associated with pipe style helicals

7. Efficient torque transfer.

8. Clear visual indicator of torsional deflection.

Round Shaft  screw piles

1. Shaft material: Seamless high tensile pipe, conforms to ASTM A500.

2. Helices material: ASTM A36 Hot rolled plate.

3. Corrosion protection conform to ASTM A153 standard for hot dipped zinc coating.

4. Round Shank Anchors are Hot Dip Galvanized to meet ASTM.

5. Leading edge of Helices beveled 45 degrees.

6. Greater Section Modulus Strength to resist Twisting and Deflection.
