Kumkum- Applying of Kumkum signifies constant emission of divine energy and divine consciousness.

Sindoor- Applying of sindoor purifies the vital air body and mental body of worshipper. Its applied on the forehead of both the deity and the devotee.

Sandalwood- Sandalwood paste is applied at the point of the third eye wisdom on the forehead of the devotee and attracts deity principle in large proportion because of its fragrance.
