We have been in this business for more than ten years and our main exports have been to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Norway, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America.
Prasid Pashmina Industry manufactures Pashmina (Cashmere) Woven and Knitted products Shawls, Scarves, Stoles, Mufflers, Throws, Blankets, etc. of various sizes, qualities and colours. We have our own manufacturing facilities for Knitted Cardigans, Sweaters, Caps, Gloves, Ponchos, Twin Set, Collar Neck, V-Neck, Key-Hole Neck, Round Neck, Turtle Neck, Hi-Neck etc. in various knitting styles such as plain, cable, net, etc. The designs are available in various ply yarn such as 100% Cashmere, Cashmere/Silk, Cashmere/Bamboo, Cashmere/Wool, Cashmere/Cotton, 100% Woollen, 100% Cotton, 100% Silk, etc.
We also do additional work on our Cashmere (Pashmina) products, other than the normal Plain Solid Dyeing, such as Hand Embroidery, Glass Beading, Block Printing, Shaded (ombra), Reversible (Two-Faced), Jacquard, etc. and on your request we can send you pictures of these designs. We can send the pictures in different styles and colour chart on your request.
Prasid Pashmina Industry encourages employment of marginalized families in its production and particularly emphasis for the active participation of women for their economic upliftment. The company trains skilled workers in Cashmere (Pashmina) weaving.
PASHMINA, (better known to the Western World as CASHMERE WOOL), also known as the "diamond fibre" and the "Soft Gold of Asia", is the finest, softest and warmest wool found in nature, which comes from the underbelly of Capra Hircus goat (Ibex), found in the remote regions of the Himalayas at about 14,000 feet above sea level.
