XBCseries diesel-engine fire-fighting pump developed by Shanghai Semhai Pump, instrict accordance with national standards GB6245-1998 for "Requirementsand Test Methods of Fire-fighting Pump Performance " and the American Fire-FightingAssociation standards NEPA20 "Installation of Centrifugal Fire Pump ",with auto-function to meet both market demand and operation condition ,when thefire occurred at building and power supply system failure, electric fire pump outof work, emergency diesel engine fire pump will automatically put intooperation to ensure that the normal fire fighting work to protect the safety oflife and property.

XBCseries diesel engine fire pump are equipped with fire pumps,like IS seriessingle-stage single-suction, SOW series of single-stage double-suction pump, SHDseries of multistage segments pump. The equipped diesel engine are all from domesticor imported products with high quality, with characteristics of a good start,strong overload capacity, compact structure, easy maintenance, simple to use,high degree of automation, is an advanced, reliable fire-fighting equipment.

Note:Under non-normal conditions, diesel input power will be less than the ratedpower, it need to choice higher power diesel engine to support pump to ensurethe normal operation

Performance features

1,With3 types of perfect starting-functions:

(1).Manualstart function: Manual-start function can be achieved by manual- automaticinterlock through the switch;

(2).Automatic-manualfunctions: allowance of 3 starting times,it issued a "starter failurealarm" and automatically exit the starting state if unsuccessful startingfor 3 times; Time to the rated load start time is 5-10-15S (by unit capacitysizes ) after successful start for first time;

(3).Emergencymanual direct start function: Manually direct start function of emergency canbe achieved when the self-controlled device failures .

2.Automatic operation: When the pump unit receives a valid signal fire,the dieselfire pump will automatically start running if the pump can not start normallydue to the power supply system of fire pump motor interrupt or phase orfailure,once the power supply system returns to normal or electric pumps can berun properly, it can automatically switch to the electric pump.

3.Automatic shutdown: Diesel fire-fighting pump will delay and shut downautomatically when the fire signal disappears..

4.The battery self-charge function: The battery can be charged automatically byelectrical mains power of diesel engine, to ensure a smooth start of the unit.

5.Perfect indicating system: Ready to start, manual start, automatic start, unitoperation, unit shutdown, battery charging, speeding, low oil pressure oflubrication oil, low oil pressure of turbocharger, low oil temperature of enginelubricating, high water temperature of cooling system, low voltage of battery, lowfuel level , regular inspection.

6.Perfect alarm or protection system: Alarm or protection of failure start for 3times, overspeed, low lubricant oil pressure,low oil pressure of turbocharger, hightemperature of cooling water, low temperature of lubricating oil, automaticcharging device failure,low battery voltage,high battery voltage,low fuel level.

7.Perfectdisplay systems: engine oil pressure, engine speed, battery charge current,battery charging voltage.

8.Direct-coupled:Diesel engine and water pump are connected by high-flexible coupling, on commonchannel base, with compact structure, good overall performance, less failureand vibration, convenient installation on-site construction.

9.Withhigh pressure and big flow capacity: By selection of IS series single-stagesingle-suction, SOW series single-stage double-suction pump, SHD seriessegmental multistage pumps, to meet the needs of different fire occasions.

10.Beadjustable of flow and working pressure: Diesel pumps fitted with mechanical orelectronic speed governor, it can be adjusted to change the speed of the dieselengine when the pump flow and head are inconsistent with the actual data.

11.Withpre-heating device of water temperature: The unit is equipped with AC220Vcooling water preheating device, to guarantee the normal work environment at atemperature below 5 ℃

12.Doublebattery circuit: When a group of battery failure, another one can be automaticallyput into operation.

13.Maintenance-freebattery: No need to add supplemental fluid frequently.

14.Automatic timing inspection test: Fire system usually is in standby mode, theunit can automatically complete the device testing for standby condition andtimely warning.
