Inferior oil detecting kit

Inferior oil such as drainage oil and deep-frying oil can produce some of the same polar materials which can not be wiped off during the purification process. Basing on the reaction of the polar material and specific reagent, inferior oil detecting kit developed by our company can detect rapidly the quality of the oil. 

1. Using method

1.1 Take some oil sample into the specimen cup, and use dropper to suck 4 drops of the oil from the specimen cup to the detecting tube. Then screw the lid tightly and shake 50 times. 

1.2 Put the above detecting tube on the white shelf attached in this detecting kit. Then put the shelf into the water to boil for 5mins. Observe the color variation. 

2. Result

Compared with blank control detecting tube, it is positive result that the solution turns pink and the color is deeper than that of blank control detecting tube. Namely this detected oil is inferior. It is negative result that the color of the solution is lighter than that of blank control detecting tube or it turns other color. 

3. Application scope

It is suitable for rapid detection of the oil. 

4. Matters need attention

4.1 This method is only for rapid detection. Those samples of which the result is positive should be sent to lab for further confirmation.

4.2 During the detection, don’t heat the blank control detecting tubes or those unused detecting tubes together with the detecting tubes into which detected samples are put. 

5. Storage condition

Keep them at room temperature in sealed, dark, dried, and ventilated condition.
