TP304L ASTM A270 Stainless Steel Sanitary Pipe 3'' X 0.065'' X 20'' with OD / ID 320 Grit Polish
Description:
Spezilla's stainless steel sanitary pipe is manufactured in accordance with ASTM A270 and 3A sanitary standards. Our stainless steel sanitary pipe?is made from cold rolled stainless steel strip whose chemical elements are specially controlled to enhance weldability. The weld bead is cold-worked to a full finished condition, resulting in a virtually undetectable longitudinal weld. Bright annealing to 1,900°F minimum follows in a controlled atmosphere to preserve maximum structural integrity. The tubes?are then mechanically polished to a 180 grit (20 μ-in. Ra maximum) interior and 150 grit (32 μ-in. Ra maximum) exterior finish via Spezilla's state-of-the-art process. Stainless steel sanitary pipes are then line-stenciled with OD, wall, ASTM specifications, grade, and heat number. Price and weight is per foot.
Materials Available:
TP304, TP304L and TP316L available.
Quality Control:
To assure the highest quality standards, our stainless steel sanitary pipe is subjected to extensive testing and inspection programs that meet or exceed ASTM A270/A1016/A1016M test requirements. Testing includes reverse bend, reverse flattening, and flange tests. Eddy current testing is performed on 100% of the stainless steel sanitary pipe produced.
Solution Annealing:
Inline hydrogen bright annealing to 1900 F (1040 C) minimum followed with a rapid quench.
Surface Polish:
Surface finish is 20 u-in Ra (0.5um) ID maximum, 30 u-in Ra (0.8um) OD maximum surface roughness measured per ASME/ANSI B46.1 with the profilo-meter reading at 90 degree to the lay. Other finishes available upon request.
Export Packaging:
As a final step to ensure purity standards, each tube is packaged using 2 mil poly sleeving and both ends are sealed using air tight end caps. Stainless ?steel sanitary pipes are packaged in protective tri-wall boxing. When specified, woode boxes and all export requirements can be provided.
Marking:
Bright annealed stainless steel sanitary pipe is line stenciled with OD, wall, ASTM specifications, size, grade, heat number, production date and time. OD polished stainless steel sanitary pipe is marked on one end of each tube with a removable label stating ASTM specification, manufacturer, grade and heat number. Continuous line stencil available on requrest.
