1.3 technical instruction

This continuous casting line includes melting furnace, holding furnace, crystallizer, tractor, saw, electric control system, hydraulic control system and cooling system.

1.3.1 furnace

The 550kw power frequency induction melting furnace and The holding furnace of 200KW power frequency induction furnace with the same body,there is a refined furnace chamber between the melting furnace chamber and holding furnace chamber,it is composed by upper furnace body, inductor, bracket, hydraulic system. The furnace shell of upper furnace body is welded with Q235A steel plate. The bottom have flange connected with inductor assembly. There are hydrocylinder and bearing pedestal at the two sides can tilt furnace 45°. The indutor assembly is composed with shellbody, copper channel, iron core, loop, water jacket and refractory material. the loop is made of flat copper tube coated with double-fibreglass; the water jacket is made of stainless steel plate of 1Cr18Ni9Ti.

1.3.3 Crystallizer

The crystallizer is composed by framework, sealed filling frame, inner sleeve, outer sleeve, graphite die, seal components.

Water cycle type is one entry one exit.

Water pressure: 0.6~0.8Mpa

1.3.4 tractor

1.3.4.1 The tractor is composed by pedestal, electric machine, speed reducer, gapless gears, traction roller, screw down device. The pedestal is frame structure welded with Q235A steel plate, the electric machine choose AC servo motor from japan.

1.3.5 saw

1.3.5.1 The saw is composed by hydraulic system, saw noumenon, guide rail. The saw can move along the guide rail. After finsh the cutting, the saw will be pushed back by a oil cylinder.

1.3.7 Electric control part of horizontal continuous casting line

Electric control part divide into power frequency electric furnace AC control part and auomatic control part:

(1) Melting furnace adopt three-phases. Output working pressure is 90~380V, eight gears to regulating voltage, noload stepness automatic coupling voltage regulator(three phases balance).

(2) Holding furnace use electromagnetic induction voltage regulator, can make load and stepless voltage regulating, it’s easy to control furnace temperature.

(3) the bottons and indictors are from shanghai, all the relay, switches are from famous factory.
