Functions for each stage of filter:

The 1st Stage: Polypropylene cartridge (10 um ~ 5 um )
The aperture of the PP filter is 10 microns transferring to 5 microns, can effectively filter rust, sand, other larger particles and solid impurities in water
The 2nd Stage: Granular Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge (GAC)
Can effectively adsorb chlorine, humus, disinfection by-products, odors, colors, and other materials.
The 3rd Stage: Reverse osmosis Membrane (0.0001 micron)
On the principle of reverse osmosis, the filter removes tiny impurity, colloid, heavy metal, dissolvable oxygen, bacteria, and viruses from the water. Finally the outlet water is pure water.
