Looms of MST-3 model is droved directly by switched reluctance motor, and the braking system is on one side of the motor SRD, without clutch and reduction gearbox driving device, the structure of the loom is more simple and stable. With the changes of the structure, the starting torque is increased and the rapier loom can reach the speed immediately. It saves at least 10% of electricity than the common clutch model. Lower using cost and spares makes the maintenance more convenient. The loom includes mainly four parts namely switch reluctance motor SRD, power inverter, controller and position detection. There is circuit and power inverter in the controller. While the rotor position detection is fixed on one side of the motor. This loom is new type tecnbical machine.
