1. Features

The single column VTL model C5126-1 is a super rigid machine with big machining capacities, stable structure and high machining efficiency. The machine is equipped with one vertical tool head and can be equipped with high precision digital readout system (DRO). Electric encoder together with electromagnetic valves is integrated into the gear box. Gears are made of 40 Cr steel and precision ground for high precision and low machine noise. Electrics are controlled by OMRON brand PLC.

The machines are designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed cutting tools and carbide cutters on workpieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.

Functions:  1. I.D. turning & O.D. turning,

                  2. end-facing,

                  3. cone turning,

                  4. grooving, parting / cut off, etc.

2. Machine Body

The main body of the machine is made of high rigid resin castings with thermal stress relief aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined.

3. Machine main structure

Main motor with dynamic braking mechanism is adopted for direct driven of the table. Electronic valve installed on control panel can fulfill the speed override of table. Double row cylindrical roller bearing is equipped under the table. The cone inner ring of the bearing can eliminate the radial clearance effectively for high precision and stable machining at high speed.

4. Hydrostatic working table

Hydrostatic table adopted with constant flow synchronous pump features:

a). low friction for permanent life of table,

b). heavy load capacity on table,

c). oil film between machine base and table absorbs

cutting vibration & loads,

d). a safety system controls the hydrostatic pressure for

optimum safety.

5. Special configurations (optional)

The machine can be equipped with the following special configurations to meet more requirements:

a). Guarding,

b). Coolant system including pump & tank,

c). Side too head,

d). DRO unit (2-axis DRO on right tool head, 3rd – 4th axes for side tool head),

e). Chip conveyor & trolley,

f). Oil Skimmer,

g). CNC system,

h). Customized electrical power supply,

i). Customized column or cross rail travels.
