2, Carbon steel plate cutting: the maximum thickness of carbon steel cutting is 20mm according to modern laser cutting system, the cutting kerf can narrow to about 0.1mm. The heat affected zone is extremely small as to mild steel cutting, smooth, vertical well cutting surface. When it comes to high-carbon steel, laser cutting edge quality is better than mild steel, but the heat affected zone is a little worse.
3, Stainless steel cutting: it’s easy to cut stainless steel sheet. The maximum cutting thickness of high-power YAG laser cutting system is up to 15mm. Low-power YAG is up to 4mm.
4,?Alloy steel plate cutting: Most alloy steel can be cut by laser,good quality cutting kerf. But to high tungsten tool steel and hot mold steel, laser ablation will sticky residue when cutting.
5,?Aluminum and alloys sheet metal cutting: the aluminium kerf can melt while cutting, but with assist gas to melt blown off the cutting area, obtain better quality section.
6, Cutting other metal materials: copper is not suitable for fiber laser cutting, but HE YAG laser can cut continuously. Titanium and titanium alloys, nickel alloys are available for laser cutting.
7, Laser cutting machine processing non-metallic materials: Only CO2 laser cutting machine series for cutting and engraving wood, paper, rubber, leather, acrylic, plastic, cloth fiber composite materials, carving horns, color plates, copper paint.
