Usage: For use withtank cleaning couplings, ground joint couplings, interlocking type inserts anduniversal couplings. Interlocking couplings should be used for a securelylocking coupling to hose.
Advantage:
Interlock clamps are used on any fitting with a collar to engage theforward gripping fingers of the interlocking clamp.
They are most commonly used on ground joint females and malecollared nipples.
Smaller sizes provide a safe and economical securing method foruniversal hose ends.
The forward gripping fingers engage the collar preventing the shankor stem from pulling out.
Tightening the bolts secures the clamp around the O.D. of the hose.
