The LT serious is designed for heavy duty equipment with severe clutching and braking applications. They give you, if compared to normal clutches, a ventilated construction for rapid heat dissipation. Other comparative features include
sustained slippage, greater efficiency, high starting loads, an extended operating life, and smaller diameters with a lower contact velocity.
The Type VC is also designed for applications in which large inertia loads and sustained slippage would normally result in loss of torque and reduced operating life. This makes it perfect for such applications as grinding mills, marine propulsion, metalforming machinery, and oil and gas industry machinery.
