Applications:

PotassiumCarbonate is used as raw materials in manufacturing electro tube, TVkinescope, computer display. It is applied in optical glass improvingclarity, strength and refractive index. It is also applied in electrodeavoiding electric arc breaking-off during welding. It is used to producefood additives like potassium sorbate, monopotassiumphosphate, etc. Potassium Carbonate is foliar spray fertilizer and aconstituent of compound fertilizer. In dyeing industry, it is used toproduce vat dyestuff and discharge of ice dyeing. It is absorbent removinghydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide; dry powder extinguisher mixed withsoda; auxiliary raw material for production alcohol and acetone; andanti-aging agent in rubber production. Its solution is used in boiling andscouring of cotton and wool's degreasing. In addition, it is alsoused in manufacture of printing ink, photograph-drug, polyester, explosives, electroplating, tanning, ceramic, buildingmaterials, crystals and medicine.
