Overview and Application
The RF Admittance level transmitter is composed of two parts: detection and
transmitting. The detection part is composed of probe, protective casing and
sensor, and the transmitting part is composed of oscillator, demodulator, amplifier,
voltage and current conversion, dial gauge and
outer casing.
The oscillator generates 100KHz radio-frequency voltage, which will be applied
on an electrical bridge composed of inductor and capacitance, and used to
compensate the distributed capacitance on coaxial-cable. The capacitance
would be measured formed by the sensor and the material.
On the initial stage, change the variable capacitance to balance the electric bridge,
then the voltage transmitted to demodulator will be zero. When the level rises, the
capacity will increase and the electrical bridge will lose balance, then the voltage transmitted to the demodulator will not be zero, which will be in direct proportion to unbalancedness of electrical bridge. The different levels will give rise to signal
variations. After processing of demodulator and amplifier, it will be changed to
4~20mA linear current to the measured level. When transmitted to control room for centralized control and record, we would achieve the automatic control of production process.

Model Selection
Length: The A, B, M, N, P electrodes are specified by customer, the longest
of which is 4175mm. The longest for D, H, I electrode is 30 meters. Electrode option
A, D, E electrode can be only used for non-conducting media.When used for fiber
glass or container with lining, we shall use auxiliary earthed pole or coaxial sleeve.
This level transmitter can be widely used for continuous measurement of liquid
level and material level in the industries of petroleum, chemical industry,
metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, food and paper making.
