The GMT100, GPS tracking system, is designed for personal or vehicle tracking purposes. Based on the low power and SirF Star 4 chip set, it provides the high receiving sensitivity as good as -163dBm, which means better accuracy and stability. Equipped with the Infinion solution based GPRS modem, the GMT-100 operating software provides efficient GPS data transportation and flexible operating modes that help users to save communication costs while maximize the usage of tracking information. ?
The USB port provides the host interface to PC as a serial port emulator. That is, the application program on the host PC can communicate with GMT-100 through the COM port API to do configuration and other control commands.
To consider the applications for handheld device as well as vehicles, GMT-100 includes the power module that can accept 12 volts DC power supply that usually supplied by vehicles. Further more, Li-ion rechargeable battery is also usable for GMT-100.???? ?
