Free-standing steel lattice tower

A lattice tower or truss tower is a freestanding framework tower. They can be used as transmission towers especially for voltages above 100 kilovolts, as a radio tower (a self-radiating tower or as a carrier for aerials) or as an observation tower or other type tower such as torch tower. Many freestanding towers are lattice tower, which are manufactured using mounted steel profiles.

Latticed towers are manufactured using mounted steel profiles. This type of towers has all the advantages of freestanding towers such as great reliability and no need for servicing. Monopole also belong to freestanding tower, compare to guyed mast, monopole not tied by stay wire.

MEGATRO provide all type of freestanding framework towers, all components are hot-dip galvanized to ensure an extended life of the tower, even under highly corrosive conditions. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. Special drainage systems ensure tubular members are galvanized both inside and out for maximum protection. If client have other special requirement for surface, we can painted or powder coating.

Performance Standard

Besides conform to the drawing and design, the materials and fabrication of tower components shall conform to the Chinese Standard or other standard which clients can accept.
