PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Life Line Connector (LLC) is product with wide range of application. It can be used to replace open pole mounted disconnectors, for connection on tension poles, as short-circuit connector,connection of branching network, and worker protection against accidental re-connecting of disable network.
LLC can be used with all kinds of conductors with range as in table above. When its combined with isolated conductor on Tap side, than it complies with with bird protection requirements and is considered as bird friendly connection.
LLC is constructed for voltage till 36kV and it can be used to connect two medium voltage networks by using Cu or Al isolated conductor on tap side.
The connector can be re-used several times without damaging the wire .
Installation is thanks to low weight easy and fast with Live Line Stick. The guiding lug(1) ensures the guiding of the main wire to the right position, and the wire nut (2) keep stable position on stick during closing and tightening the LLC. That guarantes perfect electrical contact and right positioning on the wire.
Protection against accidental over-tightening is guaranteed by shear heads:
18 Nm of the lower screw, 30 Nm for the ring. Even after the ring is teared off opening is possible thanks to the remaining hexagonal bolt-head screw. On tap side the tear head is calibrated for 13 Nm.
Minimal maintenance needed: only the tightening of the screws needs to be checked periodically.
Operating temperature is -30 / +70 Celsius.
Life time expectation: 35 years.
