circular polarized UHF RFID antenna

UC7 antenna is mainly applied for 902~928MHz radio frequency identification system,center frequency is 915MHz, can connect the Reader by the coaxial line directly. This antenna is with small size,easy installation, can match with the coaxial line well and have good directivity.

The circular polarization of Antenna 

Two Linear polarization radios with equal radiation that are orthogonal in space can compose one circular polarization ,as per the difference of electric field's rotation direction,the circular polarization can fall into levogyration and levogyration.  Levogyration is magnetic wave which accords right-hand rule ,levogyration is magnetic which accords left-hand rule . The polarized way of UC7 antenna is circular polarization,so in the antenna's reading range,even though the label rotate optionally, it also can be read.  But for most labels that works by polarization way,when it accept the circular polarization wave, the frequency that the labels accepted will lose half,so when the read apply the circular polarization antenna,the read range will be shorter than the ordinary linear polarization antenna.

The functions of antenna

The functions of antenna is transferring radio-frequency signal between the electric label and the readers.  RFID system readers must emit energy by antenna,then form electric field, distinguish the electric label by the electric field.  That is say, the range of electric field that antenna formed is the readable area of radio-frequency system.  Sometimes, the FRID system completes emitting and receiving at the same time by one antenna;sometimes,RFID system completes emitting by one antenna and receiving by the other antenna,  the format and quantity of antenna applying depends on the specific  application

Among its working frequency range,the standing-wave ratio curve of UC7 antenna is relative flat and the value is small,is indicates that the antenna is working well now, if exceeding the frequency range, the value of standing-wave ratio will increase sharply and the functions of antenna will drops sharply.
