 1, The cylinder liner is the pathway of a piston’s reciprocating motion, which allows an engine’s inlet - compression - explosion - exhaust. Along with the
cylinder head, it provides a place where injected fuel can compress and explode (a combustion chamber). The cylinder liner is a key part of a cargo
engine, and requires high precision and abrasion resistance.

2, In producing a cylinder liner, special-alloy cast iron materials made of gray cast iron, such as TAKALLY-C, GG25K and GJL250, are used. The cast iron
materials require heat deformation resistance and corrosion resistance in order to not be affected by high temperatures, pressure, and friction.
