Product Description
DC powered water detector warns 85Db when moisture is present and can help prevent extensive water damage from:
* Sump pump failure
* Toilets overflowing
* Leaky hoses and pipes
* Dishwashers leaking
* Air conditioners or swamp coolers leaking
* Water heaters bursting or leaking
* Washing machines overflowing or leaking
* Sewer backup
* Rain and ground water
Features:
* Sensitive - a small amount of moisture will usually trigger the unit
* Completely electronic - no moving parts to fail or wear out
* Usually detects dampness before water damage can usually occur
* Uses a standard 9 volt alkaline battery (not included)
* When the battery is low it should "chirp"
