An aspheric lens is a single element optical component with one aspheric convex surface and one plano or sperical convex surface. Characterized by f-numbers less than 10, aspheres provide maximum energy throughput over a limited path length. Although not designed for imaging applications, they are ideal for use in illumination systems where it is necessary to collect the focus as much light as possible.
We can manufacture many different kinds of aspheric lens, such as aspheric-plano, aspheric-concave, aspheric-convex etc .
