The YF-523C can be deployed as a wireless mesh access point, bridge or client (client bridge). YF-525C3 is housed in a robust outdoor weatherproof IP66 enclosure. It is compatible with many other vendor infrastructure products. Each unit supports 802.11a 5Ghz and 802.11b/g 2.4GHz in all modes with up to 54Mpbs throughput, plus Turbo A and Super G for higher throughput for up to 108Mbps. The 802.11a wireless mode takes advantage of lower interference.802.11h DFS and TPC protocols are supported, permitting 1W EIRP transmissions in some regions such as the EU for greater range. The greater range makes the YF-523C excellent device for use as CPEs in low density user environments, such as WISP used in rural or semi-rural areas. For secure communications, the YF-523C offers a choice of WEP, WPA, or WPA2-802.11i with 128 AES encryption in AP and client modes. Bridge mode has proprietary AES-based encryption. The YF-523C can also detect rogue APs and notify you by email to further protect your network from unauthorized access. The device comes with a 5dBi tri-band detachable antenna with RP-N Type connector for quick deployment. Management is easy with a GUI WEB interface which allows you to add users to and remove users from the systems. Finally you have full use of Power-Over-Ethernet, saving the time and the unsightliness associated with powerline cabling.
