This a light duty board that has two magnetic strips on the back to permit placing of the board on a refrigerator or other metal surface. The board itself is not metal, so magnetic markers will not adhere to the board. However, magnetic markers, including the marker including with the board, will adhere to your refrigerator.

This is a light duty board that would be useful for making eraser-able reminder notes on the refrigerator.

Surface care: For best results, use standard low odor dry erase markers. Always erase the board before storing. If ink residue remains on the surface, remove the stains with glass cleaner. Applying a light coating of furniture polish (eg Pledge) to the whiteboard makes the board very easy to erase.

The durability of this Light Duty Whiteboard can be markedly improved by placing a 2" strip of a quality Heavy Duty clear packing tape (like 3M) over the black edging and overlap the White board side by about 1/4" with remaining tape overlapping the back of the board.
