 Why Bamboo

Bamboo is a renewable resource and can be replanted.Although it's 16% harder than maple,it's not wood at all but a grass. It grows like a weed without much human intervention. Compare to 30-50 years for a stand of trees, bamboo is able to reach maturity in about 5 years.

The specific gravity of bamboo varies between 0.4 and 0.8. It is very light and also antimicrobial,as durable as any wood product.

It pulls carbon dioxide out of the air and bamboo also converts about 35% more CO2 into oxygen than a regular tree. Helping to improve soil conditions and erosion along the way.
