1.Product Brief Description:

UIC-2023 Wireless People Counting System includes TX transmitter and RX wireless counter,U315 wireless receiver and client software.

TX transmitter is responsible for sending infrared signal,RX wireless counter is for receiving signal from TX,distinguishing people direction,sending encryption radio wave every 5minutes,U315 wireless receiver is for receving radio wave from RX wireless counters, up to 16pcs RX counters in the same wireless area,decoding radio wave automatically and distinguishing the corresponding ID of counters,sending data to Client software in PC,local data will be got.

Remote server need to be built if remote data management is needed,after building server,give any PC in stores identity authorization.the people data in any one store can be checked through WEB browser in the remote managing center.

The Web Statements and data center is needed when building server.they are supplied by us,we will charge additional cost,one Web statements is for 10000stores.

Low operating cost,ideally for people couting in the chain stores.

RX wireless counter and TX transmitter have the same appearance layout.

ID DIP switch

RX wireless counters can be set ID according to the requirements.In the same wireless transmission area,16 RX wireless counters can work at the same time.

Charging interface    

When prompted to low voltage alarm, charge by using DC5V power adapter through the interface

Operating mode switch

The switch has three positions: off mode, on mode, focus mode.

Infrared receiver window

For receiving the infrared signal from TX transmitter, make sure the windows clean, no foreign body blocked.

Focus indicator

When Operation mode switch chooses installing auxiliary mode, the indicator is used to indicate the infrared signal receiving state to show if the TX transmitter and the RX wireless counter installation location are correct

Transmission indication

RX wireless counter take the initiative to launch a set of encryption coding waves every 5 minutes,the indicator is flashing.

Low voltage indication

RX wireless people counter built-in battery is below the minimum requirements, the indicator flashes to remind of charging.

Charging indication

Using Output DC 5V power adapter for charging, the indicator turns on, the indicator turns off after charging is completed.

U315 Wireless Receiver

Using U315 wireless receiver to connect a computer for data acquisition and remote transmission

U315 wireless receiver with a 16-channel receiving ability, can receive radio waves signal from 16 the RX wireless counters at the same time,and automatically decoded into digital signal of corresponding ID RX wireless counter and receive specified device ID query from computer software

U315 wireless receiver is equipped with a USB data cable, USB standard interface connects PC machine, power supply and communication are provided by USB port, no additional power supply, easy to use and flexible.

U315 wireless receiver has automatic operating mode, can automatically start the full channel listener after power and filter radio waves in the air which are not transmitted by RX wireless counters.

Client Program

Client program reads the people flow data from U315 wireless receiving and produces information then writes into the local database.

If remote server has been built,the client programe will establish a network connection with the remote server to upload the local database records at the same time.

Client program has breakpoint continuingly functions,the people flow data from U315 wireless receiver only are stored in the local database when the network connection with a remote server is in a failed state. When the connection is normal, client program will continue the data transfer process.

Client program operation parameters configuration are unified management by the remote server.the client program can run automatically after reinstalling, you only need to download remote server operating parameter again, no need to set parameters by local staff, greatly reduce the system maintenance costs,

Equipments Installation

UIC-2023 wireless people counting system is suitable for the entrance with less than 3m width, rely on distinguishing direction and counting when the crowd pass and keep out infrared ray.

RX counters and TX transmitters are installed on the both sides of the entrance, on door frame or channel walls,from a height of 1.3 meters above the ground.

RXwireless counters are installed in the left side of the entrance,close to pedestrian departure direction. RX counter can identify passenger flow direction. The inverted or free installation will result in contrary passenger flow statistics

1.Preparations Before Mounting

All the RX counters are respectively set DIP switch in accordance with the number of installations, DIP switch must be set in order starting from 0, not duplication, not jumping a location. For example, five RX wireless counters are used in total, the coding switch should be set to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

After setting DIP Switch,Must restart RX wireless people counter to get new ID

2.Mounting RX Wireless Counter

In the left or right side of the entrance,from a height of 1.3 meters to the ground, close to Pedestrian departure direction,determine installation location,on wall or channel security door or door frame,then fix RX wireless counter by using self-tapping screws.

Adjust the operating mode switch on the bottom of RX wireless counter to the position of the ‘focus,‘focus’indicator flashes.

3.Mounting TX Transmitter

Adjust the operating mode switch on the bottom of TX transmitter to the the position of the "on", hand-held transmitter, lens surface toward the RX wireless counter, adjust the position of TXtransmitter until the focus lamp of RX wireless coutner goes off, and fix TX infrared transmitter.

 
4.Inspecting Installation
Take a book or others which can be used to keep out objects, Keep out one RX receiver window (lens),the RX wireless counter "focus" indicator turns on, when unobstructed, "focus" indicator goes out.

 Keep out the other RX receiver window (lens),If achieving the same effect, the UIC-2023 people counter has been used correctly.
